A man should not leave this earth with unfinished business. He should live each day as if it was a gift. He should say and do it all while he still can. My dad felt it was important to live this way. He said and did everything he needed to say to us before he left us. He was a planner all his life, even to his death.

This memorial website was created to remember our Dearest Best friend, Devoted Husband and Loving Father Charles Dominic Marinelli. He was born in the United States in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts on April 27, 1934 and passed away on April 12, 2008. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

We miss you daddy, so very much. I will always treasure those talks we had each afternoon.

I miss those afternoons. I miss our after dinner visits the most. The nights I stayed home I wish I had come over instead.

I waited 37 years with curiosity about your younger days and I will always appreciate how you wanted me to know the "real story"

I will also always appreciate how you included me in every part of your life.

These past few years are my treasures forever and I will never forget anything you have taught me.

You have done your job well.

You sat and waited so patiently and missed your own daddy so long, now it is my turn to step into your shoes and wait and miss you the same way.

Peace is with you now, and altho it may seem like a long time for me to wait, I will see you again

"In the twinkling of an eye"
